Students started a super fun science project this week to learn about seed germination and the parts of a plant. Building off of our seed dissection last week, students can now see how the embryo in a seed begins to form a new plant with a little help from the sun and water. Students used a damp paper towel, beans, and a ziplock bag for this activity. Each day we will observe changes in our beans by documenting them in our seed journals!
